Behind the Song: Lauren Daigle's 'Hold On To Me'

Her first piece of original music in 3 years, two-time GRAMMY Award winner Lauren Daigle has released the touching song, “Hold On To Me.” 

Watch this behind-the-song video, as Lauren shows us footage of the actual song being written during soundchecks and rehearsals, while she was on the road with her band, prior to the COVID outbreak. 

“Hold On To Me,” combines Daigle’s legendary range and powerhouse vocals with the sweeping melody and heartfelt lyrics that convey a deep message of hope.  

"This song has a taken on whole new meaning since first writing it in 2019," reflects Lauren. "I remember in the moment really loving what the crowd brought to the song — but the depth and true meaning of “Hold On To Me” didn’t hit me until much later. Now, after experiencing a year like the last, I think I needed this song more than ever"
