The singer who has given us "Into the Sea (It's Gonna Be Okay)" and "Look What You've Done" searched the world looking for meaning and truth. That quest even brought her to what many in the world would call a "dream career", touring with Katy Perry as a backup singer.
Tasha Layton tells CCM Magazine her story of how that journey eventually brought her back to her roots of faith and music.
”Faith is a decision, and I knew at some point it was going to stick,” Tasha recalls. “After all the hurt I had lived through and was continuing to live with, I needed to experience God’s love. I realized throughout that whole year and a half, the church had been loving me back to God and back to my calling.”
