A Little Kids Dream Come True

Thanks for Making Us Smile

Ever seen that guy who dances on Cooper Street in front of the Parks Mall in Arlington? You can’t help but smile when you see him. His name is, Jaylan Ford, and he’s a huge Taylor Swift fan. A woman who enjoys watching him dance, started a GoFundme page to get him tickets to Taylor’s concert in Arlington and now he’s going to the show! If you’ve never seen Jaylan dancing, it’s definitely worth a drive to Arlington. He says his only goal is to spread happiness. Looks like it’s working!  – Starlene Stringer

Homeless with a Pet

Putting food on the table for your family can be hard sometimes. So imagine how a homeless mom felt, while taking care of her two children and their dog. She eventually had to give Lilo away. But she left their beloved dog with a note, asking that she go to a good home. Their story is now enlightening others about homelessness!  – Starlene Stringer

Answered Prayers

Thousands of people prayed for two little girls from Saginaw recently. They were conjoined twins. But after much prayer, special training for doctors and the blessing of their parents, the babies were separated at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth this week. Both AmieLynn and JamieLynn Finley are doing great!  ~ Starlene Stringer

Perfect Pet Position

Who says humans should have all the fun! Your dog or cat could become one of the ‘chief toy testers’ for PetSmart®. Not only will they get to play with toys, they'll get to test out yummy treats too. Oh, and you may like this... they get paid $10,000!  ~ Starlene Stringer

Strangers Helped Him Retire

Butch Marion is finally enjoying retirement. The 82-year-old veteran had been working at a Walmart to make ends meet. That is until a TikTok user went through his line and decided to make a GoFund Me for him. It raised over $100,000 and now Mr. Marion is planning to visit his children, for the first time, in years!  - Starlene Stringer

All teachers deserve to be recognized, so tell us why your favorite teacher should win the 94.9 KLTY and Great Hearts Texas 'Teacher of the Month' award. From January – May and then September – December one teacher will win each month.
